I emailed usenet@athena.... yesterday--I haven't heard a response--so
I hope that someone can help me. My newsgroups are all screwed up. When I go
into rn it takes a mail message that I got last week and line by line turns it
into Bogus newsgroups. It killed the two newsgroups that I was subscribed to
and now comes up with the attatched note.
Warning! Bogus newsgroup: alt.barney.sponge-minions.die.die.die
It looks like the active file is messed up. Contact your news administrator,
leave the "bogus" groups alone, and they may come back to normal. Maybe.
Finding new newsgroups:
pid 23387 (rn) was killed on an unaligned access, at pc 0x41fb9c
Caught a SIGBUS--.newsrc restored
Illegal instruction
What should I do--I would really like it to work. Oh and the barney group
pops up every once in a while to. I hae tried this probably 5 times with the
same results. Please help soon. Thanks.
