Hi - are you the ones I should talk to about a problem
saving a file in Netnews? I was online this morning reading
a posting and decided to save it to a file which I do all
the time. For some reason it didn't work today though -
I got the following message:
% interp buffer overflow!
Caught in an internal error -- .newsrc restored
I then logged back in and successfully saved the file to
my home directory (I named it ~churter/filename). I then
checked my News subdirectory thinking it perhaps was too
full (is there a size limit to these subdirectories?).
I deleted a lot of files, tried to save the posting again
to the News subdirectory and got the overflow message again.
I checked my disk storage and found 408 kb's in OldFiles.
I tried to delete this stuff but was unable to. Does the
system purge the OldFiles automatically?
Thanks for any wisdom you shed on this problem. I appreciate
your help.
By the way, if you are not the ones to talk to, please let
me know who I should contact.
Thanks - Colleen Hurter
