What were you trying to do?
Test xdvi on a 7.7 RS/6000. My path is such that I got the sipb
version of xdvi instead of /usr/athena/bin/xdvi.
What's wrong:
The three files I tried to preview all complained about missing
fonts; xdvi failed to run. The error messages included the following:
Can't find font cmbx10.
Can't find font cmbx10.
Can't find font cmti10.
Can't find font cmr10.
xdvi: Not all pixel files were found
What should have happened:
Well, it would be nice if xdvi ran. It works on a 7.6 machine,
and /usr/athena/bin/xdvi runs just fine. Unfortunately, I don't know
what changed with the 7.7 release to break this but I can try to find
out. (The sipb xdvi runs just fine on a Sun.)
