Yes, yes; I've said more than once now that I wanted people to talk
about this here and then I was going to open it up `to a larger
group', I believe was my phrasing. Perhaps this wasn't clearly enough
a reference to the gnu list.

I kept it on bug-sipb and bug-outland becuase when I brought up SIPB
maint of the gnu locker before, some people felt that the sipb locker
itself needed more attention, and that we'd be better off putting our
efforts into that instead. That said, I agree with Sal that it's a
good idea to trim them out now.

Re the gnu list: Can anyone think of any reasons not to ask the gnu
list if SIPB can take over maintenance of the gnu locker, making `gnu'
a filsys group with the sipb cell copy first and the athena cell copy
second? The `new' gnu locker would be reasonably stable but not
guaranteed to always work all the time; that's what the cygnus locker
is for.

P.S. Please remember to trim bug-sipb and bug-outland from any
responses.
