These programs all require (at least, they used to require) that you
have /mit/sipb/lib/app-defaults in your
X{[USER]FILESEARCHPATH,APPLRESDIR} environment (or happen to
accidentally type things like `xrdb -merge
/mit/sipb/lib/app-defaults/XAlarm' often). This should be fixed or
the programs removed and/or replaced.
