When I try to select a group to be moved, nothing happens.
In order to move a newsgroup from one place in your .newsrc to
another, you (a) highlight it, (b) click on "Select groups", (c) click
where you want the group to go, and (d) click on "Move". Nothing
visible happens after step (b), except that the highlighting goes
away.
You're going to have to be more specific than this if you expect us to
help you and the description above doesn't answer your question.
