dclock reverses videomode

I am running vtwm.gamma.
Run sipb's dclock. Mine is defaulted to be white foreground and
black background. I ran dclock from my .startup.X thus:
nice -1 dclock -fade -date "%W, %M %d, %Y" -second -geometry -0+0 -rv &
Set dclock's alarm. Go to a virtual screen in vtwm.gamma OTHER than
the one that dclock is in.
Don't go back to the dclock's virtual screen till after the alarm goes
off. After the alarm sound stops, return to the virtual screen that
dclock is located.
Dclock's color is now black foreground and white background! It got
reversed.
