well, I was just recently notified that jik has in fact modified
pmail recently, and sent patches to us, which i incorporated into the
current mish-mash i'm working on. It seems to work fine on the platform
I was fixing it for (Solaris), and decs. I have re-written the Imakefiles
to work with "normal athena templates" i.e. xmkmf should work, please
read the README file anyway though.
The Imakefiles *did* work with "normal athena templates" before you
rewrote them. In particular, the files in /source/config, which is
what most of the Athena source tree uses to build.
There's no reason to use the X Imake format, which is gross anyway,
unless you want to be forced to maintain different Imakefiles from the
ones in my master version of the program forever.
You were planning on sending me all the portability patches you come
up with, so they can be folded back into the standard version, right?
