Okay...
well, I was just recently notified that jik has in fact modified
pmail recently, and sent patches to us, which i incorporated into the
current mish-mash i'm working on. It seems to work fine on the platform
I was fixing it for (Solaris), and decs. I have re-written the Imakefiles
to work with "normal athena templates" i.e. xmkmf should work, please
read the README file anyway though.
As for the other platforms. Currently, there is a version of pmail
built for them. The RS6000 version that i seem to create seems as buggy
as the current one (though it might be worse, I have not had time to play
with it). So I chose not to install it yet. I have not had access to
a Vax or RT, so those versions are also the old ones.
As soon as i have time, (within the week i'm sure), I'll
fix the RS6000 version and build it for the vaxen and such. Please
be patient, though if you just run pmail, the only thing you will
notice is a new dec and sun version, both of which seem to work correctly
