1) I fully agree that our version of "man" should go away soon, along
with all of the other broken software you meantioned such as "where",
etc. Question: does "man -k" do the right think for apropos files in
more than one MANPATH directory?
To the best of my knowledge, it only checks the apropos file in the first
directory. Clearly a lose.
(This bites me all the time on the 4.3-based Suns...)
