In the future, you should send questions or bug reports about
programs in the sipb locker to "bug-sipb" rather than to "sipb".
We are running an older version of zmodem in the sipb locker, because
the person who wrote it at some point to switch from a freely
redistributable and freely useable copyright policy to a commercial
copyright policy that requires users to pay for any "non-educational"
use of the programs.
Since it is not clear that we could restrict a program in the sipb
locker to only "educational" use (nor, for that matter, is it clear
exactly what that includes), we choose to keep the freely useable
version and not install newer versions as they have been released.
The added functionality is minimal enough that it doesn't seem
worthwhile to pay for a new version. Furthermore, SIPB doesn't have a
lot of money to pay for software.
