So, I decide I might be willing to give in and learn how to use vi,

xterm: Unknown terminal type
I don't know what kind of terminal you are on - all I have is 'xterm'.

And it sits with the cursor on the last `v' doing nothing. Somehow it
doesn't seem, to me anyway, that `xterm' is *that* strange a terminal
type...
