I have installed as "betaxrn" in the sipb locker the second beta
release of xrn version 6.18. This release includes all of the changes
I made to the previous beta version (which is now installed as "xrn"
in the sipb locker), as well as two semi-notable additions:
1) Support for executable signature files.
2) Two new buttons to scroll the article index window forward or back
a page.
See the betaxrn man page for more information.
The program is installed for VAX, RT, DECstation, RS/6000 and
SPARCstation platforms.
TO USE IT:
1) Run "betaxrn" instead of "xrn".
2) If you have the XFILESEARCHPATH variable set normally, and then add
"/mit/sipb/lib/%T/beta/%N" to the path before
"/mit/sipb/lib/%T/%N", if the latter is in your path.
The installed program will show up when the locker is released
tonight.
Please test it and let me know if there are any problems.
