A few users complained because xrn and xscreensaver were unavailable for
sometime today on the RS/6000s: the programs were linked the shared
libraries in the x11r5 locker, which were unavailable because pollux was
down.

I have told these users that they can use xrn an a non-RS/6000
workstation, or use rn on the RS/6000, or get real work done. I don't
think this is a big problem, but maybe programs in the sipb locker
should not depend on non-local shared libraries, especially ones in
non-replicated AFS volumes.

Also, I believe that I heard from probe that binaries linked with
shared libraries on the RS/6000 will not run on AIX 3.2 if and when that
move is made. (Verify, Richard?) This should also be kept in mind.
