I don't know why you are having trouble.
I just successfully used both rx and rb to transfer files from a
Macintosh to Athena.
As I have already said once, to my knowledge, nothing has changed over
the summer that would prevent them from working. Except, possibly,
the fact that the dialup machines are so overloaded that the transfer
might time out.
Now that some new dialup machines have been introduced, and things
should be going a bit faster, I suggest you try again. If you still
can't get it to work, I don't know what to tell you.... I simply can't
duplicate any of the trouble you are experiencing.
