Regarding the request about changing the /usr/sipb link, I was not
using /usr/sipb, but xscreensaver uses that link to find its bitmap
files. There may be other programs that operate in similar fashion.
Adding '/afs/sipb/project/sipb/$bindir' to my path is quicker than
doing an add, so I was hoping to use it, but presently that is not
possible. I was just hoping to shorten that portion of my life that I
spend watching the "attach: Filesystem ..." messages scroll drearily
across my console window when I log in. 'Scuse the use of the wrong
address on the earlier missive.
