For future reference:
If webster goes down, check and restart portmap, and then kill the
webster server.
I don't know why portmap has suddenly started dying frequently
during this release. An idea I just thought of is that perhaps it
uses malloc and gives up too easily if a malloc fails. I'm going to
investigate.
