Hi!
I too used to have all sorts of problems using sx and rx programs (as
well as kermit). By fooling around at the pad prompt ("xxxx.MIT.EDU"),
I've found that all of my problems were eliminated if I enabled the
"download" parameter before connecting to Athena. To do this, just
type "term down" (or "terminal download") followed by a carriage return,
before you type "athena".
I don't know what exactly this parameter changes, but it solved my
problem. Your problem may caused by something completely different,
but you may want to give it a try. Good luck!
