1) What gives you the "strange `No match' message" when you try to
upload the plain ascii text?
2) What modem speed are you using? What are your modem settings?
3) Is there any static on the line?
4) What error do you get when the xmodem transfer is aborted?
5) Does your telecom software support any other protocols?
