My patch (formatted so you can use "git am" on it), which I just rebased
onto HEAD, is

/mit/geofft/Public/barnowl-modnarrow.patch

I've built a version into /mit/geofft/barnowl/bin/barnowl that supports
it, so you should be able to test this with

add /mit/geofft/barnowl/bin
barnowl
:unset modnarrow

I think I also meant to make M-m and M-M have whichever behavior M-n and
M-N don't do, but I don't see that in this patch. I'll add it before I
submit it for inclusion.
