Following up on last night's zephyr conversation, the important thing
for making it possible to package barnowl and to pull deltas from the
upstream VC is that whatever you tar up needs to be the same as the
base of your VC repository. So, if you convert the whole thing to
git, you need to have an owl directory in your tar ball.
