Hey Sam,
Tim has pointed out to me that if we want to get barnowl into Lenny,
we have a month until code freeze, and several annoying waiting steps
to go through before then. Therefore, we'd like to try to get an
initial upload to Debian as soon as possible. You've mentioned to us
that you would be willing to maintain a barnowl package, but might be
hosed until mid-June.
If we got everything ready over the next few days (Debathena has even
made a package you could use or start from), would you have time to
deal with maintaining/uploading the package in the very near future?
If not, would you object to us asking kcr or spang if they were
willing to do so, at least in the short-term in order to try to make
the Lenny deadline?
