Couch space for National Jamboree brothers/others.....

Well...we are trying to firm up our visitations during the Jamboree,
and we would love to have brothers or others that are on their way
toward or coming back to come by and visit (and, if need be, to crash
on our hideabed or our "real" bed...). Likewise, if anyone has any
crash space around the Jamboree site (or close to it...I'm not too
picky, but Indianopolis is *too far* (grin) ), please let me know so
that I can try to cut my costs and meet some great brothers in one
fell swoop!!
Our home will be "open" from NOW (August 1) through August 3
(Tuesday). We have lots of crash space...and two bathrooms. Right
now, my children are here as well...so that's a negative if you don't
like small children! We will be back on Sunday evening, August 9, at
around 11pm (CT) or so...and my kids will be back home with their
mother then....so anyone whom is returning home from the Jamboree site
and want to spend a little time in a small community, please stop by.
Directions: So simple, so few. We are located in Greenwood (which is
the southeastern annex) to Bowling Green, Kentucky. Take exit 22 from
Interstate 65 (Interstate 65 in Kentucky goes from Louisville through
Bowling Green to Nashville, for you non-Rand-McNally types) and go
toward Bowling Green. You will come up to a stop light. After the
stop light, look for Greenwood Ford Lincoln-Mercury on the left and
the Racetrack gasoline station on your right...you want to get into
the left hand turning lane at the Ford Dealership. Turn left onto
Pascoe Way....
Pascoe Way dead-ends after the chiropractor's office...but you will
turn left before that event...this is Kenilwood Way...it winds it's
way back to the housing block....Cave Springs Avenue is the *fourth*
street after you enter the housing block...our place is there on the
corner...and we're the first place on the right...my car has
Department of Defense tags on the backside (you can't miss it!).
If you get lost for some "strange reason", just go to the Racetrack
gas station on Scottsville Road...and call us from there...we'll come
across the street and rescue you *grin* !!
**hint** Bowling Green is a college town with policemen that are very
proactive toward criminal behavior...they have this 'Vette that they
drive around town that they seized from college students....there's
a lot of country-type bars, but only two "regular" places to
drink...and both places happen to be in Greenwood.... the county is
wet, for those that must know....**hint**
Well...if you can help us out, please let me know....I'll look at my
mail every day up to the day of driving....and likewise, if you wanna
stay here, with indoor plumbing and nice jazz music most of the time
(without commericals!), please let us know.
