In response to a recent message by David Anderson on APOSOC-L, here is the
information about APO at the Jamboree, including the APO Social.
APO's booth will be located in Tent A of the National Exhibits Area. The booth
opens on Monday, August 2 at 1pm and then will be open 9am-5pm each day until
Tuesday, August 10 (with the exception of Sunday when the hours will be 12-5).
The APO reception will be on Saturday, August 7, at 5pm with the site
to be determined. Hopefully an article on APO will be in the Jamboree
newspaper and will announce the reception. (As a sidenote, the SCOUTS-L
reception will be at the Sea Exploring exhibit which will be in the tent
next to APO's.)
Please stop by the Jamboree to visit and attend the reception. When I found
out where the reception will be, I will post it. Hope to see everyone there.
If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me any time before the end of
the month when I leave for Jambo.
