Hi,
As you may recall, this spring APO-L was divided (informally) into
two lists. The new list, APO-SOC, is intended to carry the chatter and
silly converstaions, while APO-L carries announcement, serious
discussion, and other similar stuff. APO-SOC can be accurately
described as a high volume, low content list.

If you wish to sunscribe to it, you have three options. You can
subscribe to the athena email list apo-soc-incoming, either yourself or
by sending a request to apo-acl. Secondly, you can read it in the
discuss archive that has been created, by adding the line -
0:0:0:charon.MIT.EDU:/usr/spool/discuss/apo-soc:APO-SOC,apo-soc:
- to your .meetings file. Third, you can subscribe directly to the
listserver (LISTSERV) yourself (ask Ellen or someone else with more clue
for directions).
