Here's something I found being passed out by my summer Resident
Assistant. It's geared for Pittsburgh people, but I'm sure you have
something similar in your area.

Donate a few hours with one of these organizations and make a
positive difference.
* Jubilee Soup Kitchen
- serve lunch at a Hill District soup kitchen
- call (412) 261-5417
* Habitat For Humanity
- help restore an old home for a low income family
- call (412) 242-3633
* Citiparks Theraputic Recreation Program
- assist with recreation programs for people with disabilities
- call (412) 422-6544
* Greater Pittsburgh Community Foodbank
- collect and package food to be distributed throughout the city
- call (412) 672-4949
* Living At Home Program
- provide support to older people living in their own homes or
apartments (yard clean-up, grocery shopping, recreation, etc.)
- call (412) 578-3646
