CPW Update:
The Charlotte CPW has been canceled, due to a problem with the institution
and insurance - namely, they required it for the CPW and our policy is to
fall under the institution's insurance policy as a university event. So...
I'm attempting to relocate the CPW closer to the center of Region III - but
I need some support. I know that the four section chairs are spreading the
word and trying to get a handle on who's interested, but I also know that
location is still the key.
Two areas are under consideration: Raleigh-Durham and Richmond, including
schools in the non-immediate vicinity. If you are out there, and interested
in possibly attending a CPW in either location, I need:
Your name
Position
Chapter
Which site you prefer
Your telephone number
Your e-mail address
I realize that this is a little unusual, but I am attempting to respond to
the requests of the chapters in Region III to have one of these conducted.
We need between 15 and 17 people - I am hoping that staffing won't be a
problem. Staff had been designated already for Charlotte - I don't know
what their status is at this time - and I hope that they will be willing
to migrate to another location.
