Georgetown is one of those chapters that waited for national's go co-ed.
Their first co-ed pledge class was spring of 77. The Scouting requirement
was not removed until 1967(convention: Norman, Oklahoma) however by
the mid '60s that was not followed all that closely by some chapters. In fact
simply registering as an adult scouter was enough to satisfy the letter of
the by-laws.

Bill Clinton's actual scouting background includes time as a cub scout but
he was not ever a boy scout.
