For anyone who will be in Upstate New York this summer, or for
anyone who wants to road trip to Upstate New York this summer
(Don't laugh --- past picnics have drawn folks from as far as
Boston and North Carolina!!!) I present to you...
S e c t i o n 8 9 S u m m e r P i c n i c
- When: Saturday, July 17th, 1993. Noonish until...
- Where: Upper Buttermilk State Park, Ithaca, NY
- Who: Section 89, or for that matter any Section, Alums,
Friends, Whoever.
- Food: Hamburgers, Hotdogs, etc. Please bring munchies,
desserts, and/or beverages.
(Note: There will be no alcohol at the Section 89 Picnic. The
state park requires a free permit for anyone bringing alcohol
into the state park. Your responsibility - not mine.)
- Cost: Plan to chip in a few bucks each to cover the food. Also,
the state park will charge you $4 per car.
- Agenda: None. It's a picnic. Relax. Eat. Socialize.
Play softball. It's just a picnic.
- RSVP: Please, by Friday, July 16, to the # below, so I know how
many to plan for.
- Housing: will be available if you want to spend the night. Call
in advance to arrange.
- Bring: A dessert or beverage, if you wish. Frisbees, softball
mitts, hiking shoes, swimming stuff...
