This is our 8th pledge class, bringing our total active membership to 62 !!!!!
Finally, I would just like to bid a fond farewell to all of you seniors out
there. I joined this list way back in September and I have become one of the
frequent contributors (although I have yet to join the rebel list APOSOC-L).
There are many of you out there who have challenged me to think about
important issues concerning APO and how they relate to my life outside of the
Fraternity (actually, the Fraternity IS my life). One of the neatest moments
of my life recently was when my friend Eric told me that he had gone to the
APO-L seminar in Boston and mentioned my name. As he put it, "all of the
girls in the room said they know you." (Eric tends to exaggerate a little.)
That's what friendship in Alpha Phi Omega is all about. But, when I return to
this list in the fall, there will be a void left by those of you who graduate.
It just won't be the same. Thank you all for a wonderful and challening year.
I think both my chapter and myself have benefited from my participation on
APO-L. Have a great summer everyone!
