I'm responding about the proposed committee to handle "delicate"
situations within a chapter.
I don't think that it would work. First of all, I think
that brothers would be just as inclined not to use this committee as
they would be to not approach members of exec., etc.
Secondly, what if the member they are "worried about" (for lack
of a better term) is on that committee. Then that brother has just
exhausted the only way that the chapter has for dealing with his/her
problem.
I think it's a better idea to promote close bonds between the
brothers so that there can be someone who will come forward for that
person, if he/she does not feel that they can do it themselves.
Also, promote a caring and helpful exec. who will listen to brothers'
problems.
Just some thoughts.....
