Kappa Chapter's Mascot is Larry the Lobster.
The way that the lobster became Kappa's mascot is that apparently in the
early '80s (1982?) the chapter president and another brother were walking by
Morewood (one of our dorms) and a plastic lobster fell from the sky and hit
one of them.
The chapter newsletter is Lobster Tales.
Kappa creates and sells the student phone directory(C-Book).
In addition to other fake names that are created Larry T. Lobster is included
in the phone directory. We also create some very non-descript names that have
the same address as one of our brothers so that if the C-BOOK is used as a
mailing list, we can catch them and the University can sue them.
We also have an inflatable lobster in the office.
