Subject: mascots
So far, I've only read messages about chapters that have only one mascot.
I thought I'd tell everyone about Alpha Alpha's mascots.
AA has five mascots: Chalba, Arlo, Manfred, Waldo, and Grub.
Chalba is a brave orange lion and he is the mascot of the Active body.
He also happens to be missing in action.
Arlo is a cream colored dog with a big brown nose and he is the mascot
of the pledge classes. Arlo is also MIA.
Manfred is a floppy-eared dog and he wears a court jester's hat.
Manfred is the mascot of our court jester, or Ding-A-Ling (Ding for short).
Waldo could be called the party animal. This white sheep is given to
the best (or worst) partier of each week. Waldo was missing at the beginning
of the semester and no word on his current where abouts.
Grub is probably the most important mascot of them all and the only one
that has been seen on a regular basis. This big, cudly, white stuffed bear
is awarded to the hardest worker at service projects each week.
