To fellow APO members Around the World:

I am a new pledge to Alpha Phi Omega, Gamma Chapter at Cornell University. This semester I have been heading a project in which we are trying to raise relief funds for the recent catastrophic floods in Africa. For this fundraiser we have contracted with the company Interactive Learning Inc., that sells interactive tutor software geared towards first-year college courses in physics, chemistry, and biology. For every $40 dollar package that we sell through October 1st to November 7th, Interactive Learning has agreed to donate $12 directly to our chapter, under the condition that we will use it to further the flood relief efforts currently going on our campus.

If you would like to learn more about this company, their website is: www.highergrades.com.

Interactive Learning is tracking sales that they will attribute to APO in three different ways:
1.	Any sales of the copies of their software that we make here on our campus. We personally keep track of these sales with our forms
2.	Any sales that are made from their website or phone line (1-877-GRADES-1) where the shipping address is to Ithaca, NY
3.	(AND MOST IMPORTANTLY!) Any additional sales that are in excess of their monthly standards. They have agreed to assume that any increase in sales could be attributed to our efforts.

It is because of this final condition that for the last week I am trying to notify the other chapters of APO to this fundraiser that we are doing here at Cornell. The more sales we make world-wide, the greater the yield in our fundraiser will be, and the more we will be able to do to help those in Africa. I have even developed a poster (.ppt file) for this fundraiser any of you from other chapters that would be willing to advertise this software or fundraiser we would greatly appreciate the help. If you would like to learn more about the recent floods you can always check www.worldnews.com, but here is a more direct URL to an older article from around when the floods occurred: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/6994995.stm.
Thank you so much for your time and help!

Ryan C. Wicks
