Brothers,

My name is Shawn Goldman and I am the administrative chair for the
2006 Alpha Phi Omega national convention in Louisville, Kentucky. I
would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the exciting
methods of communication that the National Convention Planning
Committee has created for the upcoming convention.

The first exciting thing that many of you may already be aware of is
the convention website. The convention website can be accessed by
visiting http://convention.apo.org, on this website you can find
information on such things as directions to the convention hotel, the
Galt House, as well as information on how to reserve your hotel room,
what there is to do in Louisville, and of course information about all
the exciting events that we have planned for the convention.

In addition to the website we have several other exciting ways for you
to access information about national convention. One of these ways is
through our AIM Bot. This bot can tell you a lot of information about
national convention, and I encourage you to chat with it. It can be
accessed by simply IMing 'aponationals2006'.

Another way to get the latest informational updates about convention
is by accessing our convention information yahoo group. There is a
link to this yahoo group off of the main convention page by clicking
on the 'Contact Us' link and then clicking on 'Yahoo Group' or at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/apo2006_info/

The last thing that we have instituted is a convention blog. This blog
in addition to containing all the informational updates about
convention also contains an inside look at the planning of national
convention, with photos from our meetings, and comments from committee
members on why they think the events of convention are not to be
missed. This blog can be accessed off of the main convention webpage
at http://convention.apo.org, or by pointing your browser to
http://aponationals2006.blogspot.com.

I hope that you take the time to check out all these exciting ways
that the National Convention Planning Committee has installed to help
communicate about convention with all of you.

Last but not least remember brothers, registration for the 2006 Alpha
Phi Omega national convention opens on April 15th. I sincerely hope to
see all of you there.

In Leadership, Friendship, and Service,

Shawn Goldman
Administrative Chair
National Convention 2006
