The UPS logo was placed on the white t-shirts due to the fact that UPS
actually paid for the t-shirts. They could've placed the logo
anywhere, but chose to put it in the middle of the pin. Personally, I
think it turned out well.
Why is UPS buying t-shirts for our bid? UPS has a major hub at the
Louisville International Airport and a major interest invested in the
city. One of the reasons that the airport really never shuts down - if
it does close due to bad weather, it a) really had got to be BAD
weather, or b) the city owes UPS about half a million dollars.
