Brothers:
The Sigma Iota Chapter at Valdosta State University
will be re-chartered on Sunday, December 5, 2004 in
Valdosta, GA!!!
It is requested that ceremony team members arrive at
2:30 PM, and onlookers should arrive at 3:00 PM. We
will be starting the ceremony at 3:30 PM.
Delta Kappa (Emory) has served as the big brother
chapter and will perform the ceremony.
The Ritual will be held in the Milestone room.
VSU members will be gathering in the Blazer room.
Only fully Initiated Brothers may view the Ritual.
If you or your chapter will be attending, please let
me
(aposec72chair@yahoo.com) or Danny Hurley, the group's
sponsor (dhurley@ufl.edu) know as soon as possible how
many will be attending and any other pertinent info.
Blazer and Milestone rooms are located in the VSU
Student Union.

The Rooms:
The University Union: Blazer Room and Milestone Room
Directions:
From Atlanta:
Take I-75 south to exit 18 (Valdosta). When you
get off the exit turn left onto St. Augustine Rd. Go
to the second light at Gornto Rd. and turn left (There
should be a Taco Bell at the corner). At the next
light turn right onto Baytree. Continue down Baytree
until you dead end into the school. At the light at
Baytree and Oak St. turn left. Next turn into the
second driveway on the right and the University Union
will be the first building on you right.
From Florida:
Take I-75 north to exit 18 (Valdosta). When you
get off the exit turn right onto St. Augustine Rd. Go
to the first light at Gornto Rd. and turn left (There

light turn right onto Baytree. Continue down Baytree
until you dead end into the school. At the light at
Baytree and Oak St. turn left. Next turn into the
second driveway on the right and the University Union
will be the first building on you right.
From Statesboro:
Take Hwy 301 south until it runs into Hwy 84.
Turn right onto Hwy 84 going west. When you get to
Waycross Hwy 84 turns right and then turns left so
watch for the signs after you get to the train tracks.
Continue on Hwy 84 west until you get to Valdosta.
When you get into down town Valdosta you will see sign
for VSU but do not follow the signs they will take you
to the wrong side of campus. Continue down Hwy 84
west until you get to Oak St. and turn right onto Oak
St. Continue down Oak St. until you pass a large
parking lot proceed to the next light at Oak and
Baytree. After passing through the light at Oak and
Baytree turn right into the second driveway and the
University Union will be on your right.
The Rooms:
When you come into the Union turn left pass the
mailboxes to the end of the hallway pass the T.V. Room
and go down the stairs to the basement. After going
down the stairs turn right and the rooms are labeled.
