Brothers:
I encourage everyone to attend an organizational meeting of the
National Capital Area Alumni Association on Sunday, November 7th, from
2-4 PM EST on the campus of the Catholic University of America at its
Pryzbala Center, Room 323. The site was secured for us by the
Brothers of the Zeta Mu Chapter at CUA.
The meeting will focus primarily on planning events and activities
(service projects, fellowships, leadership development) for the
remainder of 2004 and into 2005. In addition, we will ratify bylaws,
elect officers, and set membership dues for the coming year. The
bylaw and officer matters, along with registering members, are
necessary to achieve official recognition from the National Fraternity
by the end of the year.
I greatly apprecaite everyone who can attend this meeting, especially
those who are alumni living in DC, Northern Virginia, and Southern
Maryland. We have enjoyed good response to our initial efforts so
far, but direct involvement is now necessary to make this a reality
and a means of greater growth for the Fraternity and its membership.
A map of the CUA campus that includes directions to the campus from
throughout the area (and via Metro) is available online at
http://admissions.cua.edu/visit/map.cfm. The Pryzbala Center is
listed as "future" on the map, but it has been opened with its
location the same as listed in the map.
Thank you very much for reviewing this message, and I look forward to
seeing all of you on November 7th. If you have any interest in
learning more about the association, you can visit our Yahoo!Group,

list, send a message to aponca-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
