Last call for sponsors for this motion. If you would like to

Thank you to the numerous Brothers who have already pledged their
support.

WHEREAS, one of the dreams of our founder Frank Reed Horton was to
spread Alpha Phi Omega to all the nations of the world;
WHEREAS, Brother John Grossi worked diligently for many years to
spread Alpha Phi Omega to other countries, particularly Canada;
WHEREAS, Brother John Grossi was an outstanding example of
Brotherhood and truly embodied all three of Alpha Phi Omega's
cardinal principles;
BE IT RESOLVED, that Alpha Phi Omega create the John S. Grossi
International Extension Award to be given to those individuals who
demonstrate exemplary leadership and dedication in extending Alpha
Phi Omega to nations where the Fraternity does not currently exist;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the John S. Grossi International
Extension Award be presented on an ad hoc basis when circumstances
may warrant nomination and presentation of the award, similar to the
manner in which the Ellsworth S. Dobson Certificate of Merit and the
David B. Corning Chapter Program Reviver Award are presented, and
that criteria for this award be set by the National Board of
Directors no later than July of 2005;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the first recipient be John S. Grossi,
awarded posthumously, in honor of his dedication to Alpha Phi Omega
and the furtherance of its goals throughout the world.
