Hey folks,
sorry if this goes out twice, Windows XP and I are
having a general disagreement on SOP right now....
A group of brothers from the Boston area are
participating in this weekend's Boston Marathon Jimmy
Fund Walk in memory of John Grossi.
For those of you who knew John, well, really what can
I say about John. I know that everyone that met him
is a better person because of it. I know that I can
not begin to describe how much of a positive influence
John had on my life, as my big brother, as my mentor
in APO, as my friend, and I am a much better person
today because I knew him.
I am writing to everyone on the list asking for
support for this team. Their fundraising goal is
$10,000 and if they reach that, the money will go
directly to one of John's doctors Dr. Tim Gilligan.
This money will go to fund his research in early
cancer detection so perhaps someday friends and family
won't lose loved ones.
you can view the team page (And donate as well) at
http://www.kintera.org/faf/search/searchTeamPart.asp?ievent=47020&lis=1&kntae47020=3FF3DF3F6ACF465FBDC6ABEC390C21B7&team=461683
every dollar is much appreciated! attached is the
original email that I got from one of the team
members, Jeff Carson (an alumn from Kappa
Omicron/Umass)
