[APO-L] 2004 NSSD Update

Many thanks to all the wonderful chapters that performed service projects
for the 2004 National Spring Service Day. Because of your efforts over
18,000 hours of service were performed by almost 3,400 members of the
fraternity. In addition your projects directly involved or benefited over
8,000 youth and involved numerous other organizations and people (over
5,000 additional service hours)! This is quite an accomplishment and
something that every chapter should be proud of.
As your NSSD co-chairs we would like to also thank the regional,
sectional, and service committee staff who promoted this event.
We have now received 225 chapter reports for NSSD (already above last
year's number) but we'd still like to hear from every chapter (even if you
were not able to do a project). Please submit your report electronically
on the national website at www.apo.org!
