***Saturday, 5/1/04 is the deadline for NSSDay reporting--this weekend.***

Greetings Brothers,

Thanks to each of you for the service you provide all year long, and
particularly your efforts as part of the Fraternity's National Spring Service Day
(NSSD) when chapters do projects with youth or benefiting youth.

NSSD reports are due to the National Office this weekend: Saturday, May
1, 2004 for NSSD 2004. Chapters may report online or use the paper form in
the NSSD handbook which was mailed to chapters (also on apo.org). Or, just
report online--it's quick and easy to tell us about one of your "youth projects"
this spring:
www.apo.org/site/feedback/nssd_report.shtml

*Even if your chapter didn't do a project, the chapter is still REQUIRED to
report on NSSD.*

Reporting on your service program is a fundamental part of your
chapter's "service to the Fraternity." Without all of your National Service Week
reports in the fall, we wouldn't have known that we had 56,000+ service hours for
NSW 03! That's an incredible figure that we should all be proud of--from the
newest Pledge to our most senior alumni. And, since you reported that
information, we can share with each other--and others--this impressive glimpse of all
the service we do.

You never know what an impact you may have on others through your
service, especially your youth service: I'm sure that each of you can think back to
an adult who had a positive impact on your life, perhaps someone who
volunteered their time. Thank you for all the service you perform for the nation,
community, campus, and in advance for this service to the Fraternity. And,
thanks to the NSSD Co-Chairs Jennifer Klosterman Rielage & Keith Rielage for all
their hard work on this effort. Good luck with the rest of the semester!

Warmest Regards,
Carla Moran
Service & Communication Program Director
Alpha Phi Omega National Board of Directors
