Attention Alumni!!
An exciting opportunity has opened up to have another round of training
courses this semester. The Basic Skills: Presentation Skills course will
be presented at the Section 2 Conference in Tucson, AZ on Saturday 4/17.
Two weeks later, the Gamma Beta Chapter at San Jose State has graciously
agreed to provide us space for Basic Skills: Facilitation Skills and
Achieve Content Training on Saturday 5/1. As they have also requested an
Achieve the next day, it may be possible for a couple of people to even
complete their apprenticeship by the end of the weekend.
This is the first training we have held in Region X where presenters are
sorely needed. If you are interested in being trained as an APO LEADS
Presenter, please go to the LD site <www.leadership.apo.org> to read the
Presenter Development Guide where all the details of being a Presenter are
outlined. If it sounds like it's something for you, please contact me at
presdev.coordinator@leadership.apo.org to register for any of the above
courses.
The two Basic Skills courses will be offered at the National Volunteer
Conference. However, there are no further Content Trainings for new
presenters currently scheduled until Convention. So take advantage of this
opportunity to join the APO LEADS team!
Hope to hear from you soon!
In Brotherhood,
Chris
