If you have ever seen Brother Bob Love listed in our pledge manuals as one
of our famous brothers, it simply says "Professional Basketball Player".
However his story is considerably more interesting than that. He Stuttered
throughout his entire career, hurt his back while Playing Basketball for the
Chcago Bulls (Currently the second all-time scorer for the Bulls after MJ)
and was told that he would never walk properly again. He ended up waiting
tables to pay bills, however he has worked with a speech therapist and was
eventually offered a job as the Community Relations Director for the Chicago
Bulls. More information on him is at
http://www.sterlingspeakers.com/love.htm (Its a group you can pay to get Bob
Love as a Keynote Speaker, (expensive)). Also it talks about his Biography
"The Bob Love Story: If It's Gonna Be, It's Up to Me". (Available at Amazon
at
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0809225972/sterlinginter-20/104-07144
72-1695159)
All in all a very interesting story of Brother Bob Love!
