Anyone know about BK, especially 1949-1951? I'm trying to plan a memorial
ceremony for Forrest Hickman, an Active in those years and a longtime
Scouter (troop-council levels) since then. My chapter, Zeta Sigma, has
strong ties to our local BSA council. He died a week or so ago. I have
verified his membership & his widow has verified by his & her brother's
yearbooks that he was Treasurer in 1950 & President in 1951. I think these
are all I need for the ceremony's blanks, but anything more about the
chapter as it was for him may be useful and/or interesting to note for the
ceremony. His Scouting experience has already been memorialized in a Broken
Arrow Ceremony (Order of the Arrow memorial ceremony; public like ours).
Interestingly, APO started an award now given at CMSU
