Perhaps an inhibition to the spreading of APO? Greek letter orgs are
primarily an American thing, with the next largest group in Canada. There
are apparently some in West Africa & the Caribbean too.

Perhaps we should set perception of us straight. I get mixed signals about
us separating from or embracing other Greek letter orgs. Heck, even APO is
guilty of some of the stuff that is fraternally looked down upon. I would
think that based on the Filipino experience, maybe WOSM or WAGGGS can help
us spread. True, Scouting/Guiding isn't as big outside the US except in
Indonesia (I think) & we now are open to all, but that would be a start.

On the mention of Masons...I was in a group that is closer to Masonic rites
than APO & a member who was also a Mason said Masons do acts of charity.
Target audience right there to help us spread. Not to mention Amnesty,
Kiwanis, Lions (my chapter's community advisor is one), etc...

I've named several possible groups that could help us expand, although I'm
not sure what percent of the OECD's population that is. Anybody with
experience in these groups or other intergroup or int'l NGO relations on
this list? Western Europe AA possibly could help? Filipino worldwide AAs?
