Every March for the past several years, Camp Fire USA has sponsored a
nationwide letter writing project called "Absolutely Incredible Kid Day".
Many Alpha Phi Omega chapters have made a tradition of participation
in this project.
Absolutely Incredible Kid Day is a very easy project to do - all you
need to do is write letters to kids! The official date this year is
Thursday, March 18th, but the letters can be written anytime.
This is a great pledge project since it is pretty easy to organize
and conduct.
There are also lots of other ways to promote and help with
Absolutely Incredible Kid Day. This is a good opportunity to establish
contact with your local Camp Fire USA council and further any
relationships your chapter has with local schools, childrens' hospitals
and shelters, and youth groups.
For more information and ideas on Absolutely Incredible Kid Day,
see the Alpha Phi Omega national web page:

and the Camp Fire USA web page:

If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact me
or Lee Peters <dlpeters.1@netzero.com>, who is APO's Liaison
to Camp Fire USA.
Thanks for your service to young people!
