  Yes Rich...the key phrase here is: "...lawsuits against the national =
fraternity".

  But what traditionally happens in any such litigation is that the =
organization/corporation is named, but then so is every individual =
member of the board.  So now everyone is on the defensive, and often =
they will have to make an appearance in court or threaten countersuit to =
have their name taken off the original complaint.

    I was under the impression that lawsuits against the national =
fraternity are after the National Fraternity's assets- being income, =
property and holdings. Not the assets of the individual volunteers or =
employees. Corporations are set up that way- I assume that as a large =
incorporated organization, we were too.
