I've mentioned this before and I should probably again.
While I was VPM (which also included Pledgemaster in my chapter), I
started dating a pledge. She actually broke up with my little to date me.
That said, she and I broke up before the end of pledging, and she still
activated with all the rest of the pledges.
While not the brightest move on my part, in some cases, there can be clear
deliniation between Pledge and significant other. I have to say that the
stress of maintaining the separation was incredible, and I wouldn't
recommend it.
The best advice I can give is to be very careful to show no favoritism.
