Hi Len,
You mentioned that I may want to go ahead and purchase new gold ink; do you
have a store that you'd recommend I visit? I can take a zipcar there, so
driving is fine.
Thank you!
Kristin

Correct my memory, if it's spazzed about PaperWorks, etc.
Anything to say about printing with Metallic Inks? Kristin is
considering printing her invites in Gold on White paper.
I remember a silver ink on dark maroon stock job, but no gold on
anything.

Kristen:
* My memory is that we have been buying ink as well as paper from:
PaperWorks
http://www.paperworks.com with prices
I believe it's been since Cat was Press Shop Manager since we've
done either.
Norman Garcia was the store's manager. May still be.
Their websight saids they have: Van Son Oil Base Ink in Cooper Gold.
Might call and see if they have it in stock. (They are a small New
England chain.)
They moved from Allston to Somerville. About a half mile walk from
Davis on the Red Line.
* Oil-based inks dries on the press a lot quicker than Rubber Based
Inks. Also more important to really clean the press well -
oil-based ink bonds to the rollers when dry, and lessens their
working life.
* You might print the envelopes in a dark ink. Easier for the USPS
to read. & the gold ink will be more of a surprise when your
guests open the invites.
* If you order off the web, might be wise to have it shipped to where
you are staying, not W20-415. I'm not sure how well package
delivery is working in W20 these days, or if anyone other than the
President can pick packages up (ask apo-president@mit.edu?)
